Mr. Baldwin earned his J.D. degree, with high honors, from the Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1987. After 3 years in Arizona, he relocated to Montana, where he has practiced ever since. Mr. Baldwin is admitted to practice in various courts, including Arizona and Montana State Courts, the Federal courts in those states, the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

His practice focuses primarily upon complex commercial litigation and appeals involving failed real estate or business relationships, including breach of contract, negligence, fraud, negligent misrepresentation, insurance, and corporate claims.

He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the International Society of Barristers, the Montana Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association.
