In 2025, after 42 years at Holland & Hart LLP, resident in the firm’s Denver office, Marcy began a solo practice, specializing in civil appeals and legal ethics. Over her career, she has participated in hundreds of appeals in federal and state courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. Her work with trial counsel and on appeals spans a wide variety of substantive areas, including constitutional law, torts, natural resources, intellectual property, securities, trusts and estates, and election law. Marcy formerly chaired Holland & Hart’s Appellate Group, the firm’s Ethics Committee, and its Partnership Admission Committee. Marcy is deeply committed to service to the bar and the courts. She chaired the Colorado Supreme Court’s Standing Committee on the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct from 2003, when the Court created that committee, until 2021. She also serves on the Supreme Court’s Standing Committee on the Colorado Appellate Rules; chaired the Committee on Conduct of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado; chaired the Editorial Board of The Colorado Lawyer; served on the Colorado Governor’s Ethics Board; served on the Colorado Bar Association’s Amicus Brief Committee; is a current member and former chair of the Colorado Bar Association Ethics Committee; and serves on the National Drafting Committee for the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam. Ms. Glenn clerked for Judge Richard P. Matsch of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. In 2017, Ms. Glenn was one of three nominees for a vacant seat on the Colorado Supreme Court.
